Connie Lehman, artist and author of Tarot Life Cards, creates gorgeous beaded entities she calls 'Beauties'. They inspired me to rouse my collection of weaving remnants and piles of marks, beads, buttons and other treasures, to create these handwoven / beaded / embroidered characters I call Sisters of Certain Secrets. They emerge slowly after hours of handwork. Each one has a story, can you tell?
